Mike Castle

With a farm background growing up in Central Missouri, Mike spent the first 5+ years of his career trading cash grain and managing elevators across the U.S., working hands on in the industry and developing sharp insights for the ag market. He transitioned to fertilizer after joining StoneX in 2021, utilizing his knowledge of grain markets to incorporate ag fundamentals into the consultancy program, and has tied these experiences together for a broader focus as Senior Commodities Economist. Mike graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln summa cum laude with an M.S. in Agricultural Economics and a minor in Business Analytics, providing the analytical foundation to tie in with practical ag market knowledge.
